April is an exciting month. Days are longer, the temperature starts to rise and of course.. we celebrate the Easter holidays with an extended weekend! Spending time with loved ones will be top of our priorities in these upcoming weeks and this includes our pets, who many of us consider as part of the family.
That being said, April 1st marks the start of 'National Pet Month' where thousands of people up and down the country celebrate life with their furry (or sometimes not so furry) friends. The aim is to raise awareness around responsible pet ownership and highlight the important work of our pet rescues and charities through fun-filled fundraising events.
